This is the real deal in Singapore: there’s A LOT of venture funding, esp. from MDA. They are not a lot. They are at $50K a pop. The problem thus far is a lack of viable projects to fund.
If you come up with an idea that has commercial potential. Funding is not a problem, notwithstanding the recession. My understanding is that there’s still a significant amount of seed funding set aside by MDA that is still unspent.
